Aspiring Heads is an online professional development programme founded in response to the shocking underrepresentation of black leaders in education. The programme is delivered by established black leaders for black teachers aspiring to step into senior leadership positions or headship.
Core objectives of the programme;
- To empower and equip black aspiring leaders through the use of lived experiences
- To build a supportive network that upskills and elevates black teachers into leadership
- To provide black aspiring leaders with well-informed guidance and advice
- To create a cultured forum of learning bespoke to the specific needs of black educators within the UK education system
