Shaun Dellenty B’Ed, NPQH, FCCT is multi award winning LGBT+ changemaker and trainer working primarily (but not exclusively) in the field of primary and secondary education to prevent prejudice and bullying in respect of diverse human identities by adopting a compassionate and intersectional approach to diversity and inclusion.

An ex primary school leader and experienced presenter, Shaun launched the ground-breaking LGBT+ inclusion training strategy ‘inclusion For All’ in 2009 after witnessing homophobia in his own school; this impacted globally, as a result Shaun was designated a ‘Point of Light’ by the Prime Minister.

Since 2009 Shaun has trained over 67,000 U.K. education professionals and recounted his journey of thriving after childhood bullying to countless professionals and young people globally. Shaun speaks at numerous events for global brands including Amnesty International, HSBC, Lloyds, Barclays and Eli Lily and is asked to deliver research and evidence at various Parliamentary Committees and party conferences.

Shaun has supported charities and teacher unions in the development of their inclusion offers, including NAHT, NASUWT, Show Racism The Red Card, Stonewall, NSPCC and Kidscape.

Shaun captured his approach to personal, cultural and organisational change in the acclaimed Bloomsbury book ‘Celebrating Difference- A Whole School Approach to LGBT+ Inclusion.’

Shaun is a regular speaker at teacher training faculties and global LGBT History Month, Pride, Diversity Week and anti bullying events. Shaun delivers inspiring and entertaining after dinner talks and lunchtime learns, drawing upon experiences in the class-room, his LGBT+ work and even his time acting in TV soaps!
