Coaching Bio

Coaching for me is about connecting with people, inspiring them to do their best whilst challenging them to come up with their own answers. I have regular supervision and have a coach myself. I believe supervision enables me to reflect upon my own coaching biases and how these may impact upon my style.

Development of head teachers new to the role – Approaches include developing a ‘growth mind set’ through embedding the strategies and behaviours needed to successfully embrace change, persevere in the face of adversity, acquire mental toughness and bounce back from setbacks.

Working with middle and senior leaders – Develop strategic plans including succession planning, that embed the vision and values of the organisation; Work with aspiring leaders through a blend of individual coaching, training and group seminars which develops individual skills and behaviours, challenging habits, ultimately extending leadership credibility and impact.

Coaching and strategic mentoring for personal growth: focused upon challenging, encouraging and defining personal direction. The individual is empowered through developing their resourcefulness, choices, control and confidence.
